Muir Associates Ltd. (MAL), on behalf of DLR Properties Ltd. (DLRP), commissioned Aerosky to carry out a UAV Survey of the Cherrywood Viaduct, Cherrywood Business Park, Dublin 18.

 

The purpose of the UAV Survey was to obtain a sufficient quantity of high quality photographic images for DLRP’s use.

 

The physical characteristics of the viaduct, the surrounding built environment and the associated topography meant that in order to obtain the images required, ‘traditional’ photographic survey techniques would have proven hazardous, time consuming and costly.

 

The solution to the aforementioned challenges was to use a UAV to photograph the Viaduct. This approach not only removed the H&S risks associated with working at height, but proved cost effective and time efficient.

 

From our first approached to Aerosky to the handover of the associated deliverables, Aerosky were always courteous, professional and conscientious. Aerosky completed the UAV survey and submitted the related deliverables on time and on budget.
